Those years, together in the Home Counties first ever converted church, I grew up with a Curly Wurly half melted, adhered partly to my jackknife inscribed kazoo tucked in the left pocket, and miscellaneous artefacts in the other. My mum was a wonderful person and made me understand how important it was to treat a woman right. My mother also taught me how to have inner strength and not to get walked on, but that along with this to always remember that however ardent your views, that there's a time to give and be loving and understanding. While in the shadow of so much otherly change and foreboding back then -none of which though tender in years, was lost on me. I am after all of part Irish part Swiss descendancy. This then was and is, how these moments go on and unfold in us.<br /><br />Broader lifetime's distinct edification, often gruelling, largely enigmatic, though always edifying;<br /><br />From the done-and-deceased once delightful dodo to the brimming radiance yet fragility of the snow leopard - and along with my other created lists of inspirational devotees, activists, writers, thinkers, social critics, and not forgetting equally crucial humourists - all of which I've highlighted to recommend on my web pages elsewhere, I say to you other than those stars up above, the very waterways, hills, trees, creatures, plants and elementals far too numerous to mention, there obviously was once much cosmic greatness in human form too, from the wise and fascinating gentlemen of the road encountered along my journey, to the genius of true cultural icons of those years -the likes of Bob Marley, John Lennon, Kerouac and Bruce Lee. Over time would come a thirst in me, an evolving discovery and great appreciation for Woody Allen, Jodorowsky, Matisse, Gauguin, Cocteau, Marija Gimbutas and later Ai Weiwei etc. My hope is that some might recognise the golden thread, a beautiful commonality weaving together this seemingly utter randomness.<br /><br />Summary;<br />So there it is you see, take it or 'leave it', this life - perennially walking the line betwixt romp and sublimity, being and doing, with a zestful wink of loopy trashy antics ...yet along with it, for all of us, trying to be the best blessed dork and version of ourselves that any of us can possibly really be in this life of ours. All that remains is that I would finally just like to with a bit of pazaaz also add...(...fill in space later...).
