Author Description Filippo Rossi ( ) was an Italian art historian, Director of the Uffizi Galleries and Superintendent of the museums and galleries of Florence, Arezzo, and Pistoia.<br /><br />Professor Rossi played a significant role cataloging and repatriating artwork looted and stolen by the Third Reich during World War II.
